About Margaret "Meg" Kempert, MA, LPCC

MA in Counseling, Webster University

BA in English, California State University - Fullerton

AS in Social and Behavioral Sciences, Citrus College

I took a long route to become a counselor and along the way, I came to know people from a variety of cultures and circumstances.  Working in different environments has helped me to empathize and understand clients from a wide range of backgrounds.

I am also a person with Autism and ADHD, so I know what it's like to be different but not always know why.

In addition to my Master's degree, I am also a graduate of the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics where I learned holistic approaches to healing and about the impact of trauma and stress on the body.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space for you to share your stories and explore, not only how and why unhealthy patterns have emerged, but how stories can be re-written with the goal of becoming more balanced in mind and spirit.

I believe that by providing unconditional positive regard, compassion, acceptance, and empathy, it creates a space that is safe for all emotions, from tears to laughter, from anger to joy. I look forward to hearing your story and being part of your journey back to your true self (it's been there all along).
